Data Viz. Specialist & Data Storyteller

My journey started in 2017 when I first moved to Canada. That first year, I joined the Brick as a customer service representative and moved on to work at RBC for a little over 6 years, where I started as a Client Advisor and held various roles in different communities and business units until Aug 2024. Now, I am ready for a new challenge!

A fun fact about me: I have lived in 6 cities across 2 provinces in my 8 years in Canada.

This has helped me become quick at adapting to changing environments, industries, and client needs, ensuring flexibility in consulting engagements.

I get a lot of my transferable skills like leadership, communication, collaboration, by just being the eldest sibling in a brown household (iykyk :p). I have also held many leadership positions during my University career where these skills were enhances in professional settings. So I can confidently say that I have proven leadership abilities, fostering collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. I am also adept at identifying challenges and conveying complex business ideas to diverse stakeholders.

A little brag: My team "Scatterbrains" placed 1st out of 112 teams, for infographic design at UNB's 8th Data Challenge.

My technical skills are all thanks to my undergraduate in Technology Management and the combination of my work experience over the years. I have developed proficiency in data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau and Flourish + Canva, with an understanding of coding languages and algorithms. I am comfortable delivering persuasive presentations and engaging with clients to convey expertise and insights and enjoy public speaking quite a bit.

Some Kind Words

Over the past two years, I've known Krupa as an engaged, first-class student in the upper-year data visualization courses I teach, a student leader who works hard to support her peers, and a competent, motivated research assistant who contributes unique ideas to the research projects my team is engaged in. She is a curious and creative designer, researcher, and data analyst who is capable of forging new directions in data and analytics research.
